Hey guys!
So as promised as a bit of a shake up I'm doing my skin care routine. I don't use a lot of high end products for this so my skincare should be really affordable for you guys!
First in the morning. When I get up I wash my face in lukewarm water using a clean facecloth and I pat it dry with another clean cloth. Before putting on my make-up I like to use the Garnier Wake me up! for dull skin. This is a moisturizer in a gel form. It also works as a primer and serum. I use my index and middle fingers to sweep it around my skin. Following I put on an actual primer. I use the Isadora primer and the put on the days makeup.
I think removing your makeup properly is the most important thing. I always remove my make up properly after coming home. I love to use the Simple Micellar water. This has no colours or fragrances so it is really kind to skin. This removes makeup and cleanses at the same time. I put this on one of those round cotton pad thingies and wipe it all over my race. Don't vigorously rub it as that hurts the skin. You don't have to rinse this off. I remove the heavy makeup using this and to get the makeup left behind I use a charcoal cleanser. This is called Biore and it works miracles. I just adore it. Biore just gets all the make up I left behind out. Once that is washed off I moisturize my skin using a gentle mosturiser. I LOVE the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Night Spa cream gel. It is for really sensitive skin like mine. I don't think is advertised as a moisturizer but I treat it like one. It also comes in one for during the day which is light and lasts for 48 hours. I got a few testers of that and I really like it. I do not moisturize my nose or chin as that is where all the oil is on my nose and I don't want it to produce anymore!!
My neighbour makes soap from goats milk and she gives me two different types: Charcoal and porridge oats. Believe it or not porridge oats are great. Women going back hundreds of years used them for clear skin so I said I'd give them a try. If you can get your hands on soaps like those I really would recommend them as they really do work great.
My skin is super sensitive so all the products I have mentioned above so not hurt my skin or damage it so they should work for you. I have really really oily skin so that is why charcoal is mentioned so frequently.
If you want me to talk about any products I've mentioned don't hesitate to leave a comment.
Tell your friends about the blog please. I'd like to gain some popularity and I will see you guys here soon! I will make a detailed post about how I remove my make up properly again but for now.
See you guys later!!!
Claire.

Guys
So I got this beautiful Benefit box full of amazing Benefit products. As it was bought in the EU it is cruelty free thanks to the law that was passed in 2013 in not going to get into it here but just google 'EU cosmetics act 2013' or something like that and you'll know what I'm on about. Anyway the box is called 'Do the Hoola. Beyond bronze kit.' It is the cutest thing ever! It is full of Benefits most popular products in travel sizes. I think it retails for about €40 but I got it for €29. It comes with The Hoola powder bronzer, 'Dew the Hoola' bronzer, the iconic Benefit brush, 'They're real!' Mascara, The ultra plush lip gloss in 'Hoola and the 'Benebalm.'
I love this little kit and the packaging is so cute. Included there is a mirror and a little Tips and Tricks guide for the products inside. If you are flying with Airlingus at any stage they sell this kit on the flight which is where I got it at a discount. The products are in travel size and you can do your contouring, bronzing, mascara and lips in just this little case. The lip gloss just makes your lips look so plump and the colour is just a beautiful nude brown.
The Benebalm is a tinted red lip balm which moisturises your lips in a really nice way and is awesome for no make up make up. It hydrates your lips and keeps them fresh all day! Love the fact you don't need lipstick or lip pencil for colour after you put it on.
The 'Dew the Hoola' bronzer is a matte sheer bronzer which is good for contouring especially if you have a warm skin tone. Blend under the cheek bones, jawline, hairline, widows peak wherever you like to contour. It is a liquid and a little goes along way!
The classic 'Hoola' bronzer is a nice powder bronzer which can also be used to contour. The brush which is included is great to use with the bronzer. This can also work for pale people if you want to contour but the trick is to use a light hand and blend, blend and a bit more blend.
Finally the 'They're real!' Mascara is amazing for those long black lashes that every make up fan loves! It is a nice black colour and of used correctly it just gives your lashes such volume! I like to hold the wand horizontally and wiggle it side to sode while moving up on the eyelashes.
I think this is an amazing kit all round especially if you are travelling and want lots of products but don't have enough space. Just to make things clear I am not sponsored by Benefit I just really love this kit. I am not sponsored by any make up company/brand everything on this blog is my own opinions and reactions to these make up products. I don't have money to squander on really high end products so there will be budget brands on this blog too especially NYX as you know I love their products as the quality and the prices.
If you have any product you think I should try or you would like to see featured on here please don't hesitate to leave a comment. Tell your friends about this blog as if love to make it as popular as possible!
Love you guys!
I'm thinking of doing my skin care routine for my next post just to change things up a little!
Anyway! Until next time!

Concealer
Hey people!
So remember before when I was complaining about not having a proper concealer that really worked? Well I got one! You guessed it! It is by NYX. It is the NYX HD concealer in CW 02 Fair. It gives a great coverage especially for bags under your eyes. This is participating good for me as I have such a habit staying up late watching TV! The colour is so natural, the texture is creamy and just glides on, all it needs is a bit of a pat from the beauty blender or whatever brush/sponge you use. I've tried a lot of concealer sand this one is by far the best. Now before you jump to conclusions no I'm not sponsored by NYX. I wish I was! I just love their products and they are affordable and cruelty free.
The packaging is simple. The product does last a long time. It is useable (is that a word?!) for six months. I got it for about €7.50 again really affordable. It is from the same line as the green concealer I did a post on before. I use the two together in cases when there is a red volcano on my face. I have problems with acne around my chin and between my eyebrows. Disgusting I know but this concealer covers it all up.
If I was to only choose one brand to wear it would be NYX. I've never had a problem with their products. The prices are great and the quality is so high. They do so many dupes for very high end products which I will do a blog post on at some stage, in gathering information and products! They even have a dupe for 'Skylie' but more about that again.
Thanks guys!
Claire.

My Nails
Fashionistas!
I was on my holidays in Portugal about a month ago and I decided to get my nails done. There was this cute little beauty shop across the road from the house I was staying in and I couldn't help myself! I got burgundy gel nails with a diamond design on my ring fingers. The nail artist was absolutely lovely and we were able to communicate. She listened to what I had to say and was really good at her work. My nails stayed on for about two weeks until I got them professionally removed by the beautician in my local area. I really loved the gel nails and I am getting them done again (albeit by another artist!) I don't have photos of my previous nail art but I will post about my new ones! I didn't think gel nails would suit me because I lead a busy lifestyle but I was able to write, work and type with them! If anyone is interested in this nail artist I saw I can give you the website, I won't share it here obviously!! I used fake nails before as I keep my own nails very short and painted black. If you do get gel nails or any type of fake nail remember applying and keeping the nail over your own does not damage it despite popular belief, it is removing it incorrectly. Always get them removed by a professional!! My local nail artist offers a nail removal and manicure afterward!!
Until I post again!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams.
Hello guys!!
Love you!
I was searching youtube videos and procrastinating getting the shower about two weeks ago when I was watching itsBlackFriday the Gothic youtuber. She had just gotten a bag of products from my favourite brand NYX and was sharing what she got. My local chemist has a big NYX counter so I really wanted to see what she got. She had purchased some lip creams, her favourite being Transylvania, which is a really nice plum purple colour. The next day I was in the chemist when I saw that they had a new stock of the lip creams in. I got two shades Transylvania and Copenhagen, which is a similar but more reddish colour. they were about 7.50 euro each and I just couldn't wait to play with them!! I got home and immediately tried them on. They both just glided on leaving the most intense colour I have ever worn, they didn't dry out my lips and they didn't come off when I was eating my food. I love them both and couldn't pick a favouite. The range is very broad with nudes, pinks, reds and other colours. I am planning on purchasing a nude colour to wear on days when I am out and about during the day as the shades I have are more suitable at night and I don't have enough confidence to wear them going out!!! If you are looking for a good colour that is kind to your lips and stays on then I strongly recommend this line. You have to be careful when appling as they are creams. NYX have lip liners out and there is colours that match this range but I don't have them, for Transylvania they have a colour called Prune no. 834 and for Copenhagen Prune also works.
I have these for a few weeks and someone in my family has taken Copenhagen and I cannot find it!! It was the only one in stock which sneakily hid at the back so I could run to bank but it has vanished and I am really annoyed as I LOVED that colour! I am hoping the chemist gets another shipping in soon!!!

Here is a link to the video which insipired this post and I will get swatches as soon as possible!

Hey guys!!
For the past couple of weeks I have ha a major life overhaul. I have decided not to use any products tested on animals in any way unless I get them as gifts or whatever. I won't get my beauty at the expense of an animal. PETA has a list of brands that are safe for me to use. However this means my favourite foundation has had to go Sadface! Anyway I have started using the No7 foundation in no. 10 calico and so far it's ok. I feel the colour is way too orange but the feel of the foundation and the texture makes it a really nice foundation to wear but the colour is wrong. I always apply with a beauty blender.
List of products that I use which have no affliation with China and are one hundred percent cruelty free!

Eyebrows and eyelashs
Hey fashionistas!!
So I was out the other day and I decided to gt my eyelashes and eyebrows shaped and tinted. I usually don't get my eyebrows done but guys best decision! It is just so easy in the morning to just brush back the hairs and not have to worry about drawing them, especially because I love a few extra minutes in bed before school!! My eyelashes just need to be curled in the morning and it saves so much money as I love Smashbox mascara, which is unfortunately 23 euro. My eyelash tint, eyebrow shape and tint was only 20 euro. I know it might not suit everyone especially because some people might have sparse eyebrows but hey if you love em and wanna flaunt them the do! It saves so much time and money. Amazing if you're going on holidays!!
Until next time!

Hey fashionistas!
I was looking through my make-up bag the other day and realized I didn't have any proper concealer! I have tried a few budget brands and that but I haven't found the right one. Right now I'm using the W7 Camouflage kit. Now I did get it for 3.75 euro so I wasn't expecting any miracles. It comes with 5 different shades. Two salmon colours and 3 skin tone colours. Light, medium and a dark skin colour. It is really versatile and you can use it for a lot of things. As a concealer yes, it does cover spots and blemishes but the lasting power is not great. I wouldn't wear this just by itself, it needs a powder or primer to keep it in place a bit longer. It can also be used for nose contouring as the dark skin colour is good for lighter skinned people. The salmon colours can be used for covering dark circles but again the lasting power isn't great. Now what i mostly use it for is an eyeshadow primer. It stops all my 'shadows from creasing. Strangely it keeps them in place.
The texture is creamy so store it in a cool place so it doesn't get that feeling of it being melted! as the creamy texture you can mix and match the colours to match your skin tone!
It comes in a nice little palette with a mirror and double sided brush. I think it is great for under 4.00 euro! You can get this online but I bought it in a chemist in a shopping center close by. I will add a picture of the swatches once I get better lighting tomorrow!!
Love you,
Claire.

Fake tan
Hey fashionistas!!
I love fake tan. I have really emphasis on really pale skin. I don't like it. I've tried tan after tan after tan to find the right one. Between Sally Hansen, Cocoa Brown everything and nothing worked. Now a word of advice, be careful when using the Rimmel sun shimmer tan. I looked like a tangerine after using it. A few weeks ago I was shopping and the Bbold tan was offered to me. As I had nothing to lose I decided to try it. Guys BEST DECISION EVER! I prep by shaving 12 hours before after a shower obvs, 12 hours later I exfoliate using a glove and then moisturize particularly my ankles, knees and elbows. when you first put on BBold (I recommend at night)bit doesn't come out beautiful. It will be very dark. Now about 8 hours later take a warm shower and all the excess tan will wash away leaving you with a beautiful, streak free and natural tan. Even my mum thought it was beautiful! She hates fake tan!!! I can't stress how much I love Bbold. I got mine the local chemist for 9.95 euro. As I'm Irish it is pretty annoying to tan but this makes it so easy! I use the moose type one with the pump. I use it in medium. The only thing is as Bbold uses natural ingredients it is really important that you wash your mitt right after as mold will grow on it. Bbold uses Aloe Vera, Cocoa Butter, Antioxidants and Vitamin E. This reduces signs of premature ageing! Bbold doesn't contain suncream so be careful when in the sun. I haven't tried putting suncream over the tan but I will once the weather gets better. I am in Ireland after all! There is no fake tan smell, but it does smell amazing! The bottle says it smells like Calla Lily and Pink Peony with a bit of Vanilla. They aren't lying!!! I'll post a picture in my next blog post of me with and without the tan.
Until the next blog post. Love you, comment,
Claire xo

My White Foundation!
Hey fashionistas!
So you have probably read the title and closed the tab! If you are still here and brave enough to read on hopefully you won't be disappointed.
I know white foundation isn't for everyone but I use it. Currently I am using the Stargazer white foundation but I'm not really happy with it.
I got it off Amazon which is where I usually buy my 'alternative' make-up. They stock Sugarpill/Manic Panic etc.
The texture is that of a tin of really thick paint. It feels like a layer of concrete on my face. However the price was really good and I am sure that it would suit someone with dry skin.
It does stay on and it is not that full on pigmented so I can control how pale my face is. Personally because of the texture it doesn't suit my skin but anyone with dry skin it would suit. I use it with the stargazer white powder. I think you can get them in a bundle which is cheaper than buying a seperate foundation/ powder.
If you want to use white foundation and have dry skin Stargazer is for you. Now if you don't want to go full on pale than I have another use for White Foundation. If you bought a foundation and it works for you but it unfortunately is a shade or two too dark than the white foundation will lighten it up. You have to be careful but it does work if you can't change it or thy don't have it in your shade. This might not be an option for everyone but it does work for me!!
Another small thing about mixing Stargazer foundation with another skin coloured one is that it does look super patchy and clings to the peach fuzz around your skin. Manic Panic, I find, is better for that job also.
Anyways, if you actually read down to the end of this...Thank You!!
I'll be back again soon!!

NYX
Hey guys!
I was out shopping the other day and I picked up the NYX green concealer. I have never had a geen concealer before but I do suffer with mild acne so I guessed I might as well try it out.
So far I'm really happy with it!
. This concealer covers the redness really well. I dab it on the area and blend it out using a beauty blender. I then dab normal concealer over it and then add foundation. I would only recommend this if you are going out or have someone important coming over as it is important to let your spots breath so they will go away without any hassle.
. As I like the 'pale face' look this also brings down my skin tone without me having to use my white foundation. If you don't want to look really pale just dab it on and use a skin coloured concealer over it. You would never guess that I have red patches on my skin while I'm wearing it!
Now it is the first green concealer/primer that I have used but NYX is such a reliable brand. There are so many other bands out there with great green concealers. I have great reviews for the Kat Von D concealer which as far as I know comes in a palette.

New foundation.
Hey fashionistas!
I haven't been on in months but I promise to get back into it! I have been on a mission to find the best foundation for me and I dare say I found it!
I am now using the Maybelline Fit me! Matte Poreless foundation in 110 Porcelain.
It is my holy grail of foundations. I have really oily skin and this foundation stays on ALL day. I love the coverage and it is pale enough for me! never thought I would say that. It does give a Porcelain look to your skin so the title is fitting. I look like almost like a doll when wearing it and that is what i really like about it. I have received great compliments from loads of people and they always ask what foundation i use. Everyone is surprised when I say that it is Maybelline.
I love this budget foundation better than my luxury one which does change but that is for another post.
It comes in 24 shades. Ranging from very light to very dark so I do think there is a shade for everybody in this line.
I got mine from America and it cost seven dollars I don't know if they sell it outside of America and in my experience they don't sell thus exact line. I was a few towns over in the local Boots and they has a Maybelline counter so naturally I went to see. They had Fit Me foundations but in squeeze bottles and only in shades 105 and very dark ones so I picked 105 and brought it home. I put it on the next day expecting it to be a bit lighter than 110 in the glass bottle but alas it was oange. Now I am not talking about a dark brown. I mean as orange as the Blogger logo. So I think it is safe to say I will be sticking to getting it shipped from America.
. My favourite makeup artist Stephanie Lange agrees with me. Funnily she made a video on the foundation about a month after I first tried it. I'll put the link down below for you guys to watch her impressions of this foundation.
This foundation makes your pores disappear! It also covers any blemishes or beauty marks you may have. The texture is very smooth and it adapts to your skin. You also need so little of the foundation as a little goes a long way! I really don't have any problems with it apart from the fact it doesn't come with a pump.
Anyway that's all for today guys! I'll be back soon with another blog post soon!
